ABOUT THE PROJECT
Design For Customer Insights: How Buzzline User-Centred Design Approach Led To A Streamlined & Intiuitive Feedback Platform
The Buzzline team presented me with a specific task: to create a broadcast feature and improve the overall user experience, as well as work on their art direction.
To provide more background, Buzzline is an application designed to assist businesses in creating and managing customer surveys and feedback. Essentially, the app assigns a business number that enables customers to provide feedback through the app, such as booking, scheduling, and calendar updates, if a call is missed.

Communicate with all your customers simultaneously
Send messages to all, special & selected contacts.
This feature provides a convenient way to communicate with your customers by allowing you to send messages to all of them or to a selected group without any restrictions. This is especially useful when promoting new products, sharing important news, or keeping your customers informed. Targeted messaging can also improve engagement and loyalty by focusing on customers who are most likely to be interested. Overall, this feature is a game changer for businesses looking for an efficient and effective way to communicate with their customers.
Have your “new list” saved all the time.
By creating a broadcast list using this platform, you'll have the option to save the list for future use, which allows you to send messages to the same group and access previous broadcasts sent to that group. This feature not only provides greater accountability but also improves organization and efficiency in your messaging. Unlike competing platforms, you can easily manage your broadcast lists, making it easier to keep track of past communication and streamline your messaging process.
For the Final flow for broadcast
I was tasked with creating a feature that allows users to delete lists, which is particularly useful when there are many unwanted lists. The ultimate goal of the app is to enable targeted messaging and ensure that the user experience is as user-friendly as possible.
Art Direction for Buzzline
My task also included designing app store screenshots and social media visuals for major platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram, where we could potentially reach new clients. Fortunately, as someone with a creative background, I had experience designing flyers and banners, not just for tech companies. To ensure consistency, I incorporated the same design elements from the website into the visuals.

What Did I Learn?
Mastering time zones and planning accordingly.
As a fledgling product designer, I was thrilled to land my first major professional job. My client was based in the United States, and I was eager to showcase my skills. However, I soon realized that working remotely would pose unique challenges that I was not prepared for. Despite these challenges, I was able to turn them into a valuable learning experience. Through the creative process, I discovered the significance of collaboration when working from a distance. By embracing a more collaborative approach, I was able to produce work that not only had technical excellence but also carried deeper significance and purpose.
Respect the design guidelines
of the brand
As a freelance designer, I often find myself tasked with creating a new visual identity for my clients. This particular project was no exception, but I made sure to stay true to Buzzline's existing design system by incorporating their established colors and fonts.
Every detail matters
When handling a major client, every aspect is crucial. The arrangement of visual elements, the tiniest piece of written content, the tone conveyed throughout the website, and the sequence of elements all require careful consideration and concise communication.
